I am up to my hair line about the economic issues and how this is Bush and the Republicans fault. This just goes to show you how poor our education system has become or how it is OK to lie your way to the truth.
Let's look at when the downturn began. It began when oil prices went through the roof and people slowed down their spending and therefore took money out of the economy. Who had control of the Senate and House of Representatives? The democrats and when you have the majority you should be able to pass whatever policy you want. The majority however did not vote on repealing the offshore drilling, increasing domestic drilling or increasing refineries. They choose to let the offshore expire and now they are planning to re-implement it again once they gain the presidency.
So money is in decline in the economy and people are making less money or loosing jobs. There are people who are unable to pay for their mortgages they should not have had in the first place. But who was it that made it possible for high risk, bad credit, no credit, sub prime mortgages, you guested it the Democrats and the CEO of Fannie Mae who stated Barack and the Democrats are our friends. There is other footage of the Democrats trying to cover-up the mortgage debacle and of course blame the Republicans.
The truth is Bush and John McCain started raising questions about the practices Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac were using and it needed to be looked into but the Democrats were against it. The same people whom helped bring down our economy are now part of Barack's financial advisers. Ladies and gentleman, you want to see our economy crash, small businesses, which employees more than 50% of the population, go under and if you want to kiss our freedoms good-bye then vote Barack. If you care about democracy and freedom then vote McCain. As Ronald Reagan stated, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same."
